Technocrat or artist

As One looks through this world , there is more and more advent of machines , invariably required or not have become a part of quotidian life . The surge in techonological advances has pervaded even the impervious art forms . Today the techonology is shaping the world and will continue to rule the roost in the forthcoming genres. The very great advancements in technology that most people relate to are of those coming in the entertainment industry products like digtal TV, Imaging, Internet etc ..

The greatest pros which is pitted for technology is that it makes things simpler . A decade ago , probably a coterie of people found difficult in making a film , But today a bunch of neophytes can achieve and publish the same with great ease and frugality as well as superimpose so that it doesnot look any more artificial at all. Another adducement that one can quote is the talismanic "INTERNET". Today one can do all things remotely which only can be dreamt of using this tool from watching a sport to controlling a gadget in a home , it is possbile. The humans are living a dream and dreams are made come to reality .

Having a lashed a lavish praise on the techonology , there are many cons too esp in art forms . That is basically even though technology has opened up a pandorra 's box , the art has taken a back seat rather it is the the levithanous technology which has taken a centerstage . Most of the people are reminiscent of old music and movies and dance forms rather than hedonist looking videos at are being aired with jarring music . The easeness with which art can be produced has lessened its esoteric nature and thus one cannot see a genius or specialist in the making rather grotesque looking technocrats who are mostly charlatans . The reliance on techonology is hardened rather than looking at the intricacies of the art and motifs.

Having said that , one knows that the life is circumventing so would hope for a role reversal that would suffice the art patrons rather than making a deploarable form projected itself as cerebarted work of a person.

The Reservation policy introduced by GOI is a farce. The simple reason for that even after 5 decades , we have not been able to uplift the weaker sections of the society . For the people living in tribal regions of Orissa or Jharkhand , they have been in same living conditions as they as they used to be 5 decades ago. The governments do not want to propel them into mainstream and have been exploiting them as vote banks for over the years.

The kind of response generated to reservationst principles have been laudatory . But has the GOI changed its stance. For the moment , the policy is in abeyance due to the various factors . I strictly feel that such policy would implemented at any cost just to woo some voters (who do not know why they have been exercising this right for ) and no political party would take a stance against it. I am surpised how come no media comments were made by any other political parties , but the same voted against Women's reservation Bill.

From a personal perspective , I believe that reservation should be existent to Economically backward Families rather than SC/ST/OBC who are unable to cater to needs of higher professional education. Such students pursuing higher or professional education must be allowed to work on part time jobs to waive their fees. However the number of seats should be flexible and means that if there are no such students it should be persuaded to people of General Section.
